Submissions
Following the release of the proposed boundaries, the period for lodgement of written comments and objections closed at 5:00pm Monday, 11 July 2011.
 
All submissions (including written suggestions, written comments and written objections) have been made available to the public during the process. The closing dates for the different types of submissions are shown in this timetable.

18 written suggestions were received by 5:00pm on Friday, 15 April 2011.

19 written comments on those suggestions were received by 5:00pm on Friday, 29 April 2011. One further comment was received after the deadline.
 
Proposed boundaries were released on Friday, 10 June 2011.  
 
25 written objections and comments regarding the proposed boundaries were received by 5:00pm on Monday, 11 July 2011. Further objections were received after the closing date.
 
The Electoral Distribution Commissioners now have 90 days to consider the submissions and prepare the final boundaries. The final boundaries will be published on Monday, 10 October 2011 and will apply at the next State general election, due in 2013. Once the final boundaries have been released, no appeals can be made.
